Q & A with Brooke

Q: What is one of your favorite memories over the past 3 years at RAWfish?

A: The list goes on and on, it is hard to choose! I have been extremely lucky to travel and grow amazing connections while going on shoots and working with clients. This always comes with laughter and great memories, it’s just the RAWfish way.

One of my favorite adventures was a shoot with VALOR, Veterans Adventure of a Lifetime. Last fall we accompanied the VALOR team on a trek from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska all the way down to the border of Mexico in side by sides while raising money for veterans suicide awareness. The scenery, commerodery, and memories gained from my 35 days of travel was out of this world, but being able to help tell this story and capture new connections with veterans first hand was something very special.

Q: How do you stay inspired and creative in your dual roles?

A: The biggest things that keep me inspired and creative are change and our team collaboration. Being involved in the sales process and client relationships are different from shooting, yet both require unique skills and creative juices. The ability to switch between office work, strategy development, and hands-on creative work behind the camera keeps me inspired and eager for more. I look forward to both shoots and client meetings alike, as both are opportunities to build toward our shared goals of growth through high-quality, impactful media.

Our team’s collaboration within RAWfish, both in and out of the office, is extremely special to me and continually fuels my drive.

Q: What personal attributes do you believe contribute most to your success in your roles, and how do they help you navigate challenges?

A: Personal attributes that I believe have contributed most to my success are my flexibility and overall drive to be better. At the start of my career at RAWfish, I tried to get involved in every type of project that I could. This flexibility not only made me helpful but also allowed me to understand and learn each facet of the company. Through this I have discovered my own strengths and weaknesses and now allows me to assist our team in the best way possible. I believe that staying driven and flexible while facing challenges makes me persistent and encourages continuous growth.

Q: What are you looking forward to most as you continue at RAWfish Creative Group?

A: I am not sure if I can list just one thing that I am looking forward to the most at RAWfish. Growth and reaching new goals is always something to look forward to, but the memories and relationships I have built so far make me extremely excited for more.

A message from our CEO

3 years already! Time flies when you’re having fun!  Starting as a summer intern over 3 years ago, Brooke has grown an insane amount.  A full-time college student that has been working full-time with RAWfish for 3 years!  Does that not speak volume to her work-ethic and drive?  100% dedicated to RAWfish’s growth, Brooke has worked in just about every capacity of the business, pushing herself to learn, absorb and grow and always putting her coworkers and RFs clients first. From clicking the trigger, managing social accounts, and tirelessly working to build client relations, Brooke’s passion for business and dedication to doing the best she can shines with everything she touches. RAWfish is so incredibly honored to have such a talented person on the team. And I am beyond grateful to have such an incredible friend. Looking forward to watching the strides you take over the next three years, Brooke.
